FPI focuses on high-nutritionaland high-value metabolites, applies molecular biology and synthetic biology technologies, and aims to analyze and reconstruct plant metabolic networks through strategies such as synthetic regulatory elements, metabolic circuits and AI-aided screening. With strawberry as the core chassis, FPI also aims to expand research to crops like tomato, soybean, duckweed and microalgae. It strives to integrate multidisciplinary and cutting-edge technologies to create new nutrient-enhanced germplasms, support healthy agriculture and functional food development, and underpin sustainable agricultural development and public health.
