Integrating multidisciplinary technologies such as molecular biology, electrophysiology and optogenetics, EAI aims to systematically analyze the molecular response mechanisms of plants under stress, with a focus on core issues including signal transduction, ion channel regulation and hormone networks. It also aims to design and innovate genetic modules based on synthetic biology technologies, and enhance crop stress resistance, yield and quality. Rooted in national strategies and relying on core research strength, EAI strives to conduct cross-field collaboration, build a full-chain innovation system, promote agricultural sci-tech talent cultivation and achievement transformation, and ultimately aims to provide core support for Shenzhen to build a benchmark city for modern agriculture.
