Shouguang HUANG

Associate Professor (SUAT)、Professor (iEAT)

E-mail:shouguang.huang@suat-sz.edu.cn

Dr. Huang at Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology. He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars (Overseas), and was selected for Shenzhen Pengcheng Peacock Plan (CategoryB).

Dr. Huang has made significant contributions to uncovering the mechanisms of the H+–Ca2+–ion channel–stomatal movement signaling pathway and to clarifying the pivotal roles of electrical and calcium signals in regulating plant physiology.

Hehas authored over17SCI-indexed papers with more than977 citations. As the first or co-first author, he has published over8academic papers in prestigious journals such as Science, Science Advances, Current Biology, New Phytologist. He frequently serves as a reviewer for leading journals, and presents his findings at international academic conferences.

Research Areas

The research focuses on ion channels in plant cell membranes, the molecular mechanisms of stomatal movement, andplantoptogenetics.
